Chicago Sister Cities
Chicago Sister Cities was started in 1960 by Mayor Richard J. Daley. The organization promotes Chicago as a leading global city. We were fortunate to work with this great organization as they transitioned their identity with a new logo, brand standards and website. Our services included a ground-up rebrand, website development, print collateral and a banner installation at O’Hare. Take the Blue Line to see that part of our portfolio. As the political winds changed, so did CSSI. They are now a division of World Business Chicago.
Logo & Tag Line
A logo and tag line combination was developed to reinforce the organization’s mission. The elements could be used together or separately.
Identity & Print Collateral
Letterhead, envelope, business cards, along with a print collateral system.
A 30+ page website highlighting the organization’s mission and each of their global partners.
O’Hare Banner Display
Intro banners and banner/flag combinations for all of their sister cities. The display is viewble from both directions and stretches from Termial 1 to Terminal 3 on the lower level concourse as passengers arrive from parking and the Blue Line.
Annual Report Design
28 pages detailing the yearly events and successes of the organization.
Special Event Invitations
Sister Cities produced many events. Both print and electronic invitations were created for a number of country specific events.
Special Event Ads and Collateral
Sister Cities produced World Fashion Chicago to showcase global fashions from their partner cities. Support materials, ads and signage were created along with a custom event-specific micro-site.
The organization also produced Chicago Gourmet to promote the different cuisines represented by their global sister city partners.
